Technically you could, and I plan on getting a few particularly close ones. Tattoos would hold lots of power; pain, blood, in the flesh and on the body; especially if you galdr during the tattooing too. Ideally you'd want to do it yourself, but that's not always smart or even possible.

Yeah but that dries up like shit and ends up looking like a brown smidge, if you water it it will wash away. Just mix blood with india ink or similar and it will look nice and the india ink forms a waterproof layer as well.

Well, if it actually grants stamina, then yes. But I suspect what you're trying to ask is if runes work, not if tattooing does. And it depends on who you ask. Some people say they do, others say they don't.

I would suggest you try drawing your rune on with a permanent marker and testing the situation. No reason to go for permanent straight off the bat. Keep up posted, I always like to see people doing experiments with the paranormal.
