....so i am going to post scripture below in this thread to essentially post what the Bible teaches on the subject on murder, and why I feel that the message that Jesus is teaching may or not be a message of pacifism (it could go both ways, depending on your interpretation)

i personally believe in non-violence and pacifism, and seeing as i am in no position of authority and no position which requires judgment over this issue directly, i think that it is right for me to be a pacifist and practice nonviolence before the LORD, the Father of Creation (desu)

i do not believe every word of the Bible, and I think that the Bible portrays God in a certain way.... although I worship the same God that the Bible speaks of and His Son, I give God the benefit of the doubt that He is not evil...

...i really think that I know God and that I love God and that (some) parts of the Bible are true... for instance, i personally do not think that the Christian God tortures people in Hell for all eternity, and i think that some writers of the Bible may have written things about God presumptuously, although the Bible is still one of the most valid vessels in the world for proper spiritual direction

killing is okay when justified, murder is not justified. God did not murder, but allowed those boys/young men to be killed. it could come down to how the bible is translated, but God apparently did not break his code of law, he killed the 42 people, not murdered.

it's sounds hideous, but if you were surrounded by 42 boys who had the potential intent of killing you, and you're a prophet of God, I think you'd have an entirely different perspective on the situation than you do now.
