I think his the first video with the swinging chains can be debunked as movement being transferred from hardware on the ceiling. As for the voice and noises he captured in the second video, it sounds a lot like some recording over a loudspeaker followed by an alarm.

This video (from the same guy) is creepy as fuck and easily beats out the first two ghost videos he posted. His casual nonchalant reaction to hearing the creepiest fucking thing ever is priceless. The nope-ing starts at about 12:05

does anyone have that creepypasta of the exploration of a mineshaft? I believe it featured this very tight passageway at some point, which they crawled through, and then there was stuff on the walls, sounds etc.

Same here, anon.

I know were mostly posting vids, but this is a classic cave related spooky story that every /x/ denizen should read, if they havent. It's old, hence the design of the website. It's also a long read, but really worth it. Pretty sure the guy who wrote it was actually a cave explorer, so it has the added bonus on giving insight into that subject.

http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/

Theres also a newer case of a guy going missing (he actually did irl) that found an eerie "M" shaped cave that was pretty popular, but I never watched the videos.

Just read this from beginning to end. Thoroughly enjoyed it all the way until the end where it felt like he was being overly theatrical and trying to force a sence of horror beyond the point of believing. I wasnt there so who knows, but since he is so secretive about the location of the cave it kinda makes it feel more like a fake. It doesnt really help that he forgot his video camera either.

The thing is it's just some old guy who has hundreds of videos of him exploring different mines, that's his interest, not anything paranormal.
He has his own fanbase who enjoy it for the sake of exploration too. And it's only 2 mines out of those hundreds he has been to which anything paranormal has occurred.

I just don't see it as being fake for those reasons.

I doubt that it was animals. There's a cable on the ceiling that may be connected to the chains some how. The cable is obviously moving and I think he may have just grabbed it to steady himself which inadvertently caused the chains to swing,

>"Note the mist forming in the tunnel".

That is a huge red flag that the guy is full of shit. It's not mist. It's clearly dust.

That might seem trivial but consider that this is supposed to be someone who is extremely knowledgeable about exploring abandoned mines. He's done it so many times. And he is constantly dropping knowledge that only someone very familiar with mines could know.

And yet somehow he's not familiar with the concept of kicking up dust? He's stomping around a fucking abandoned mine. There would be dust everywhere.

You can clearly see that it is dust in 1080p. You actually see dust particles at 4:28. Presumably he has watched it a number of times himself and yet he still didn't notice something so basic?

There was no "forming" of the "mist". It looks the same throughout. That was clearly meant to make it seem like the "mist" must be some kind of reaction to him (GHOSTS!).

Dust moves through the air and when you shine a light on it you can see it whereas normally it would be invisible to you. It's especially visible in an abandoned mine when you have been clomping around for god knows how long. Add in an air current and you see even more dust.

And then for good measure he adds
>"Note the thickening, swirling mist".

I'm very suspicious. It's really hard to imagine how an expert on exploring abandoned mines wouldn't be familiar with the concept of a flash light on dust. And the incredible misapprehension just happens to line up perfectly with ghost cliches. It's similar to when he says things like "It just got really cold in here!".

i'm pretty sure the "voices" were some kind of faulty alarm that just didn't go off during his first few passes. the voice repeats the same syllables and things twice, like a recording. and the weird sounds at the end just sound like an alarm.

i think someone else mentioned the possibility of it being near a secret military installation which seems likely
>>
>>18436418
I've had this one on my mind for a while, but I actually think it's bats rather than anything else.
>>
>>18439481
Think I've read about nitrogen narcosis before, scary stuff. If I remember right from the stories I've heard if you're on your own by the time you start actually noticing the symptoms (assuming you aren't already aware of what to be looking out for to catch it early) it's already too late, you are almost absolutely positively going to die and in your impaired state without a LOT of luck there's no chance of saving yourself.

Thing is it's apparently easy to cure, just go up, it'll clear right up and you'll be none the worse for wear. But deep inside a cave where you can't tell what direction is up, especially not while it's fucking up your judgment and focus, then it becomes a serious deal.
>>
>>18444371
I agree with you there, anon. And the dude you replied to, there's no way this guy isn't intimately familiar with all the kinds of shit you'd hear or see inside places like this. Hell, it might not even be electronic in some of these videos, it could just something old that's on a hinge or wheel, the air flow in the cave giving it just enough of a push to make noise. Noises like that could even be an animal way back in the cave/shaft I'd wager, I mean, there's that one video up the thread where someone's dog gets fucked up by a mountain lion (whether or not you think it's fake, it's still something that very likely could happen, dogs can be retarded about the kinds of animals they challenge and I have no doubt one could run into something dangerous after running off into a cave or mine and then get its shit slapped) that thing making noise waaaay back there would've probably sounded really really distorted and fucked up by the time it reached the mouth of the cave.
