Does anyone have any stories or legends about the Wendigo. Also, I'v heard that it supposedly inhabits the rocky mountains of Alberta, and B.C. with some parts further south in the United States but anywhere further east?
seems cool
Have you ever heard of the Missing 411? I bet Wendigos play some part in it.
Also one of the latest Paranormies episodes is about Wendigos and Skinwalkers if you haven't seen it yet

No, but I might of had a skin-walker encounter back when I was homeless.
I think I read a decent pasta on it. Probably just titled wendigo or something.
I encountered one on a job in the South

I tell you tings of this body and you do not believe, and so how will you believe if I tell you of heaven?
>I don't know what a Wendigo actually is, but I've heard the word before
According to natives, a wendigo is what you turn into after you've eaten the flesh of your own kind.

Was not expecting to see a TRS podcast mentioned on /x/.
Something about fleshgaits and websites scare the shit out of me. I have trouble sleeping after I read too many spoopy stories about them but am unaffected by ghost shit.

The classic story of the Wendigo is set in the woods in North Ontario I believe, but they are consistent in native american folklore across the continent.
