Mandella Effect

Remember how Bart use to hold up this magazine with 911 on it?

Well look again, because Lisa is holding it now.
>>
>>18431851
no.

You must have just misremembered.

I don't think you understand what the Mandela effect is.

See, I vividly remember Bart holding the magazine. Since Lisa is now holding it, the most likely explanation is that I travelled to another reality where things are slightly different but my memories are retained.

You misremember, it was always Lisa holding it, because Bart comes up and goes "9 bucks!? This ones on me!" and holds up a wad of cash in front of it.

If you can't admit your mistakes when you remember things incorrectly,
If you need to photoshop images to try to trick people,
If you make threads and insist that people randomly cross between dimensions without any reason or explainable method, Then you are doomed as a human to never experience personal growth.

Either lose your autism and admit your failings, or let it consume you and become the next chris chan.

Your theory only extends as far as "Don't remember it that way, you must be wrong or I must be magical". Why don't you provide proof?

You are the one making an outlandish claim You are the first that burden falls to.

This, I used to draw anime as a kid and I vividly remember drawing pikachu's tail with a black tip. But we need more definitive proof. It can't just be cartoons movies and automobile emblems that changed. Why would the changes stop there. There has to be something else put there that we're missing. Like if the ABC's had an extra letter. Also what if the people who notice had died in the last reality and woke up in this reality never knowing that they had died in the last one.

From what I understand, you can't measure quantum states; what your measurement is is the quantum outcome.
>>
>>18432482
there are a few ways it would be possible, however because your claim is centered around something as improbable as random dimension switching against your will it is near impossible that it could be accurate, and less so that you could prove it.

Mostly because to prove it you would have to be able to induce the same effect in other living humans.

You would otherwise need to account for every lose end in the theory that you are putting forward.
>>
>>18432887
You can't actually observe quantum states, dingus. And you can't just justify any theory by explaining it with "quantum LMAO". No scientifically accepted form of quantum physics allows for minds randomly switching universes.
>>
>>18432903
>every lose end in the theory
That includes the hows and whys:
How is it possible to make such a large alteration as changing dimensions without knowledge of it happening. (prior to retrospect)
How does it always leave people in absolute lookalike dimensions and earths in the same places as the people frequent?
Isn't there a large chance that a different dimensional you might have the same name, likes, dislikes, etc. but live in very different places on earth? (varying between dimensions)
How are the persons to be migrated chosen and distinguished?
Why would it have reason to happen to begin with.?
Why would there be so few instances?
Why do people like op support the idea by falsifying images and misleading people?
By what means could dimensional interchange be predicted (if possible), if impossible, why?

Those are like seven of the possibly 20-30 thousand questions possible to need to be dealt with. If only a dozen or so of the (important) questions can be answered, we may be more inclined to believe you.

Anyone else remember that in the South Park episode ''Make Love, Not Warcraft'' Stan tells his dad to bring up the inventory screen using ''Command - I?'' Well it's changed to ''Control - I'' now. Except that friendship in Japanese is two kanji, not one. Tea even explains why the smiley is used as she makes it. Also, the only Japanese text used in the anime was on the cards themselves, which was removed in the dub due to advertising regulations. The majority of other text (signs, on clothing, and so on) is in English in all versions including the Japanese manga

Very old Looney Toons were called Looney Tunes (to go with Merry Melodies) because they were a vehicle for selling sheet music arrangements of popular songs (you may also remember there was the orchestra thing in the background). You've combined the two.

from an episode dated in 1998

I don't actually remember who was holding it cause I didn't give a shit to even consider trying to remember.
But now that you say it was Bart, I think to myself "shit was it?" Which causes my brain to spin in circles, has my universe glitched again? Because you saying it was Bart, makes me wanna think it was Bart. Because like I said, I didn't know who it was in the first place, And now me reading you saying that it was, places a new memory in my brain, that's now telling me it was Bart. Because I had no reason to analyze this specific memory and save it in my brain in the first place. So now the first memory I have of this situation is you saying it should be Bart.
So I'm here trying to "remember" who it was. But after reading this. I realize I had no memory of who it was in the first place because it's not an important enough piece of information for my brain to have saved it. So now The only memory I have is reading that it was Bart, which makes my brain believe it could have been. But truthfully I really don't know. So I'll just go along with it.
Which is my summary of the whole Mandela effect .

I've always been really interested in the case of Philip K. Dick (science-fiction writer who was decently famous and well-regarded though poor for like 20 years till he suddenly reported a mindmelting mystical experience) and it seems very similar to this. Here's part from a speech of his

“At no time did I have a theoretical or conscious explanation for my preoccupation with these pluriform pseudo-worlds. But now, I think I understand. What I was sensing was the manifold of partially-actualized realities lying tangent to what evidently is the most actualized reality – the one which the majority of us agree on by ‘consensus gentium’ [Latin for the “agreement of the people”]…
“I wrote out these dreams in novel after novel; to name two in which this prior ugly present obtained most clearly, I cite the man in the High Castle and in my 1974 novel about the US as a police state called ‘Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said.’ I’m going to be very candid with you. I wrote both novels based on fragmentary residual memories I had of such a horrid slave state world.
“People claim to remember past lives. I claim to remember a different – very different – present life. I know of nobody who has ever made this claim before but I rather suspect that my experience is not unique. What perhaps is unique is my willingness to talk about it. We are living in a computer-programmed reality and the only clue we have to it is when some variable is changed and some alteration in our reality occurs. We would have the overwhelming impression that we were living the present deja vu – perhaps precisely in the same way, hearing the same words, saying the same words – I submit that these impressions are valid and significant. And I will even say this: such an impression is a clue that, at some past time point, a variable was changed – reprogrammed as it were – and that because of this, an alternative world branched off.”

In the criminal justice system, sexually-based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the first-spin off of Law & Order, is an American police procedural television series that focuses on crimes of sexual nature. While the victim is often murdered, this is not always the case, and victims often play prominent roles in episodes. The series frequently uses stories that are "ripped from the headlines" or based on real crimes. Such episodes take a real crime and fictionalize it by changing the details.[1] The series premiered on NBC on September 20, 1999, and started its eighteenth season on September 21, 2016.
