Awhile back I too had dreams that I was back in hs.

I think it is a feeling of unfinished business. Maybe a feeling of personal failure or failure to meet expectations. Maybe some past trauma. Maybe scared to move on to something else. Maybe uncertainty in your current situation.

OP here forgot to mention I'm a girl.

i graduated college over 5 years ago. i still have the exact type of dream every couple months.

my guess is that like events such, as loosing your teeth as a child, some life events are more stressful than your conscious mind realizes. general underlying fear of failure.

I could just be a subconscious manifestation of your fear of failure. Pay attention to dreams as they tell you what you're stressing about.

I dropped out of college recently, and I never really cared that I graduated high school. I still have dreams about still being a student. I just never felt much accomplishment for following the rules of a game I never got to help create I guess. I guess thats why I am so passionate about engineering a culture of my own. If cultural engineering was offered as a degree I would consider going back to uni. Does anyone else not feel accomplished for graduating high school or achieving in an institution of higher education?
