I'm not saying possessed.. Let's say I believe someone is a host but not directly controlled.

None of this is real, so I won't LARP, but I need to know about someone who is bad luck around anyone and animals see things that normal people won't. When they aren't around people, the people effected by "bad luck" suddenly have nothing terrible happen to them.

What would cause something like this?

well, i usually have bad luck, or at least no good luck. my best friend has more luck than i could dream off. when we are together however it seems like my luck is worsened.
like i played at home some game to unlock stuff so we can play together, when i am there suddenly my laptop wont start, when i managed to get it started the game crashed and until we could play over an hour passed despite it running perfectly before that. when playing i often manage to skip back to the mainmenu somehow even though that wasnt possible at that moment and i basically just pressed "ok" or something, and a lot of such small stuff.

so i believe in 2 possibillities.
luck is some kind of energy or frequency, which when meats another one can be enhanced, decreased or even completely turned around depending on how those two sources effect each other
some people just unknowingly suck off the luck of others somehow
