What is /x/'s opinion on EMF anomaly detector apps?
Either for spoopy detector or just electronic anomaly applications?

they use the magnet in your phones compass to measure EMF and I have used an expensive detector with mirrored results. now I use it to check for leaky wires when I feel "off" before jumping to ghostly conclusions...
> found leaky wires at work in rooms where everyone felt "uneasy"
> used it in home and found moving spots of spook EMF
> used again when a weird plane flew over and during its flight found EMF sky rocket everywhere
later read that the U.S. would regularly fly planes over crowded areas to cause mass panic during the cold war...
still happening -Fuck em-

planes that leaked EMF... to clarify

I turn the "Ghost Sonar" app on occasionally for shits and giggles. I know that my wiring is fine (recently remodeled my 111 year old house), and most "activity" would happen in the early morning hours with next to no readings during the day.

Good as a silly party game. Played with one that would have a little dot slowly come towards you, and the sonar effect would add to the "legitimacy" of it being a technological device and staring at it waiting for the dot to reappear and get closer was creepy fun with my friends. Dots were appearing and coming closer nearly constantly.
Just bullshit for ad revenue, OP.
