Ok /x/, I need your help. I'm writing a screenplay for a web series about a hunter of paranormal creatures. While the usual suspects will make appearances (vampires, werewolves, poltergeists, all manner of demons, etc.) I was hoping to include some lesser known or maybe even some original concepts that you guys have had. If you know of any lesser known paranormal creatures or have an idea for some post them here and I will look further into them and hopefully include them in the series.
Mirror ghouls. They exist inside of a mirror world which is linked to every mirror in the world, and people draw their attention the longer they look in to a mirror. Ghouls drag their victim through the mirror and eat them. Think a putty from the power rangers, but with a predator face.

There's hundreds of shows about paranormal hunters, but mine hasn't been made yet. Original ideas are hard to come by but that doesn't mean we can't make stuff we enjoy making in the mean time.

i was just joking but if you're going to work on something as general as this, you better come up with an intriguing storyline with interesting characters. i'm kinda working on a comic about gods and shit and it's cliché as fuck. please, please work on your characters more than the spooks and ask for /co/'s, /tv/'s or even /lit/fags' help

Trust me anon, the last thing I want to do is make a dull watered down version of the other shows in the genre. I plan on making it as unique as I can without destroying everything that makes the genre appealing. Character development is already shaping up. Also I don't plan on keeping it going for 6 years longer than is necessary *cough* Supernatural *cough*
Could you guys step it up a little? I need to turn this when I get back from Thanksgiving break, it's a large part of my Film101 grade this quarter.

Top kek, not OP
Maybe take a look through the witchers bestiary? They've got some obscure stuff. And a lot of variants of existing spooks.
