I decided to hang myself, got drunk, tied a noose and leaned onto it. I woke up on the floor with a sore leg and oxygen deprivation making me feel like I'd visited heaven. I'd just put the rope through the wrong loop - pathetic.

Another time I went into the woods where I thought no-one went, then I slashed my wrists. A bloke walking his dog found me.
