Essentially, psychomancy is the calling upon an individual's spirit or soul for answers or the unknown. This can be done in the manner of the living or deceased (this is why it can sometimes fall under the umbrella of necromancy or "evoking of the dead")

It can also be argued that all forms of psychomancy ARE essentially divination, in it's most broadest sense.

But I like to use it in a more specific manner. What I do is call upon the Anon's spirit, the querent, and evoke what thoughts, emotions/feelings, ideas, perceptions, etc. that they have on the question or concern at hand. Often times, I have found that, what the person wants is not always in-conjunction with their soul's wants. Persons whom are more harmonious, or have less dissonance, with themselves are still at risk for not being in-line with the divine's wants or desires. If that makes sense.

This method, as with most divination, seeks to reconcile the querent with themselves and the divine through by use of their soul or spirit - their thoughts, feelings, perceptions, etc.

You should have used a more logical and cold approach to this whole thing. There are those contingent factors of the...whatever the Emperor is for you and getting away from that mentally. Instead of trying to suppress something that cannot be suppressed, it should simply be allowed its own padded room to play while you use brutally cold logic to make your way through the ritual. In other words, rituals fuck up if your head isn't completely in the game.

Anyway, solid effort, and I really think you did a good job of planning it out, but you've now learned that things will mess up if your head doesn't stay clear, and your head will not stay clear if you use emotions as a driving force in your work.
