id say get drunk / high, if thats your thing. If not dont
either way dress in a costume and wander around
hopefully encounter something interesting / spooky, maybe meet some cool people
plan your route to avoid mugging
have a failsafe cozy spot to chill and watch the skyline late at night if nothing cool actually happens
pretty much my plan at the moment, unless im convinced to go to a club or party or something
