I dont know about the idea of "Death" But i know that exorcists have talked about removing a demon from a host and re-encountering the said demon in a different person years later. Apparently there is a hierarchy and when they are removed from a man or woman they return to a centralized location where they are "punished"(whatever that means for a demon) before sent out on another hunt.

Aren't demons just manifestations of certain concepts such as greed, gluttony etc that attach themselves to living things? Do those concepts ever truly die?
