Raja Yoga is one book that can help cover philosophies that overlap with Buddhism. Thich Nhat Hanh has written many books. Cheri Huber has written a lot of self help books that are based around Buddhist philosophy but also work as psychology.
If you live near a temple of some kind, they sometimes offer programs/meditations/talks for non Buddhists or beginning Buddhists.
