One time my niece came up to the house to feed our cats while we were out of town and a coyote was chilling on our front porch. Didn't move, just watched her the whole time and never moved until after she left.

Last night there was gunfire in the forest near us and screaming. No idea what that was about bit it scared my wife.

Other than my daughter saying something is haunting her and saying she's seeing monsters (she has some vivid descriptions too. I'm going to start writing them down and see if there's a pattern), the hand prints and a general feeling of uneasiness when outside alone, and the stuff falling off of shelves there isn't that much. I'll report back if blood starts running out of the walls or something.

There's been some pretty spooky shit going down in my house too. My pregnant girlfriend and I have, on occasion, hear the sound of something sliding across the floor when we're the only ones home. It's what a ten or even fifteen pound weight being pushed across the floor would sound like, and we've heard it both seemingly come from our room and the room beside ours: my old room. We've seen the chair we have in our room suddenly scoot forward at night, a couple of months ago. There were about three weeks or so recently in which she would have nightmares, and when my brother had come down to visit, he mentioned having really graphic and violent dreams while sleeping in my old room, which we've turned into an expectant nursery. He said it was very abnormal to him considering his dreams are always tame and "boring." We hadn't mentioned my girlfriend's nightmares by the time he brought it up, and we found it pretty odd for it to sort of line up like that. A few nights ago I was asleep while my girlfriend stayed up, and she (hesitantly, it seemed, after I kept half-joking about the place being haunted) brought up the next morning having seen orbs of light flying about the bassinet we have in the corner, in different patterns. She said they then just faded, and that our cat calmly watched it also, so she was sure she wasn't just hallucinating or anything. I don't see a reason as for why she would just randomly fuck with me after four years. I now occasionally stay up til witching hour wondering if I'll see anything. Haven't experienced anything that has come across as hostile, but still, weird stuff.

I have been experiencing some weird happenings around my place too, random knocking on walls and doors, footsteps coming from empty rooms. Couple years back we did a full house cleansing (minus the attic) and we hear stomping coming from the attic some nights. The other day the front door opened and closed by itself. My mother saw a full body apparition standing behind my sister and another one down near one of the halls we don't use. Also some random white ball flew past the kitchen windows at dinner. Idk i just figure its that time of year again.

Creepiest thing that ever happened to me was when i was 15 years old.

There was no reason for it to fall down, you hav to lift it up first to get it unfixed from the bar holding it

Find a shaman, credible psychic that specialises in removing spirits, or a priest that believes one hundred percent in demons and spirits and that God can remove it.

Pros and cons for each:

Shaman
Pros: usually know what they are doing and can get the job done quick and clean.

Cons: you have to make sure they aren't just role-playing fags that became a shaman for the neat outfits and doesn't know how to actually remove spirits.

Priest

Pros: Very effective. After your house has been cleansed ask for a ritual to bless the home.

My sis can see spirits and a angry old man spirit once followed her everywhere. He stopped and glared outside our step mom's house. Sis got step mom to tell her she had the house blessed when she first moved in.

Cons: That effectiveness of removing the spirit is based on the priest's strength in God and his belief God can remove it. Sometimes powerful entities come back.

The priest also has to give all credit of removing it to God. The second you feel smug and credit your own power, you lose the power. You have to acknowledge it's god not you.

Psychic (ugh so many cons)

Pros: can see the spirit and know about it. They can tell specifics like if the ghost is human or not, what it wants, and how best to get it the fuck out. Very effective if spirit is human and can be coaxes to move on.

Cons: Have to fucking find a real one. Have to find one that isn't stupid. A psychic on a paranormal show once told a couple the spirit wanted them to remove Bibles from the home and recommended they do what it wanted. Course shit got worse.

Don't even bother with paranormal investigators that use tools. They prove, they do not remove.

Until you get a expert you can help by burning bundles of sage. White California sage is the best. Lay one bundle on a thing that won't burn. Then use a fan or paper to wave the smoke. You must start in the back of the house, get every corner and closet, then end at a door to the outside to flush the spirit out.

Your daughter is pulling a super complex prank on you, which will result in you murder-suiciding with your wife and leaving everything to her in your will.

OP, I lived in a haunted house a couple miles back in the woods from the time I was 5 until almost 20.

PLEASE don't look past this as it's only happening to your daughter, yes kids can have an imagination, but if it really is more than nightmares and just shit, it's probably real. I'm sure you can tell when she's lying. Anyways, it's not uncommon for "entitys and spirits" to target children.

Also trust me, for things to be happening and you not to believe her is the worst thing, tell her you believe her even if you don't.

As for a solution, move the fuck out. I'm not going to tell you to find a shaman, burn sage, or any of that shit because my family has been through it all. Save your time and just get out of there, only then will it stop.
