1. It is legitimate in that it's from the original leak. That much is proven. They're linked in thread.

2. The fact there's "no reply" means nothing. Have you actually looked through the database? VERY few of the emails have the replies. It's things he's saved from his email for various reasons. If he replied it's lost.

3. Everyone saying they probably had no contact, it's just some random guy writing him, etc... did you READ the email? He ends it with mentioning who of their mutual contacts has had relatives pass away, not something you'd do in a spam email, and thanks someone that Podesta appears to be familiar with since she isn't explained beyond her first name.
