I've always wanted to act since I was young. Maybe around 6 or 7 is when I had my first thoughts of wanting to be in movies. Seeing what goes into it and how so many people adore the films and actors, it's what I want. I've had many dreams that have felt so real where I'm in a limo or a very expensive car and I'm having my driver take me down the streets of LA and I'm throwing money at people, just giving people my money. That's what I'm working on right now. I know that. I do have a self-anggrandizing drive, but I do know when to stop and help others out. It is something I that will not blind me when it comes to helping when I know I can or want to. I am working on myself to prepare for acting courses and acting itself. I know I have to fix whats broken on the inside so I can get the best performance out of myself. I struggle with severe depression and major anxiety. I was prescribed medication for both but refuse to take them as they did nothing for me when I did take them. Think of an alternative way to see your acting. Not as a means to an end - the admiration of others and wealth - but an end in itself. An art, which is what it is. To appreciate that art and appreciate in partaking in it, to value it and all it has to offer as a creative outlet and a means of self-exploration.

What you give to the audience is not you, it is your art. The connection between artist and audience is about a shared appreciation of the beauty and meaning of that art. With this not only as an understanding but a perception it does not matter if the audience is 10 people or ten million.

The artist isn't just you, but everyone involved in the production, a collaborative effort to make what one cannot. Outside of those directly involved, there is a tradition of the art of acting that spans thousands of years. Generation after generation of the creation and sharing of art, always changing, performances influencing others in a dance of creativity, that has led up to modern acting. Not just acting led up to you being in front of a camera, but the technology of filming and editing, and outwards to the whole society that facilitates it.

This should be humbling yet meaningful: art, including acting is an intimate part of a collective human endeavor, a web of human relationships, to metaphorically put yourself in a spotlight and say "Me! Me!" is to devalue all of this.
