What are some more believable /x/-related theories nowadays that are still a mind fuck? I look through the catalog and see 99% bullshit, completely unbelievable stuff.

Things like the hollow earth theory and fake space require so many assumptions and give humans too much credit (a massive cover up of all science is just not realistic). What about more interesting stuff that's still grounded in reality? Stuff like the corollaries between modern quantum physics (and string theory, by extension) and eastern mystic philosophies on oneness, energy fields, and abstraction. How about stuff like the geometric arrangement of microtubules in neurons (which have subtleties in the smaller, constricted dimensions that we cannot visualize) that enable profound interactions with quantum fields and give rise to consciousness. Or other things that I've never even heard of before.

Basically, what are some of the more realistic, paradigm shift theories that don't reject all of science as a massive cover up?

They are kept in Wright-Patterson Airforce base near Dayton, Ohio.

Define hollow earth. If its that the surface of the earth is the border of the universe, and all of space is in the middle, then of course that can easily be observed to be false. But if hollow earth means something like Aghartha, where ancient creatures are said to have avoided extinction and where humanity is much closer to the earth, I'm much more inclined to consider it possible

The vast majority of hollow earthers believe in the former. They're basically one step removed from flat earthers, except for whatever reason they think the Bible is describing a giant hollow sphere (the Earth), with the universe contained within.

Ironically /b/ tends to have threads that don't get deleted and draw a lot of replies. I've been to /pol/ and the thread I started was deleted though it drew a lot of replies.

What you can do easily is look through archives. 4plebs.org has /x/ and /pol/ archives; just type in Mandela Effect. The B Archive is exactly what it says on the tin.

But I recommend you start with this video I've been recommending ever since I saw it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw-YiEnHJ4s

Here's a few:
>The Three Little Pigs "used to" have the line "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down". The wolf "now" says "...I'll blow your house /in/..."
>Kit-Kat used be to be spelled thus, but is now KitKat or Kit Kat.
>The sun used to be yellow/orange as seen during the day, and you could stare at it for a few seconds before having to look away; now it is a harsh white that blinds within a second.
>Stoplights used to be top to bottom green yellow red.
>>
>>18178753
>The Three Little Pigs "used to" have the line "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down". The wolf "now" says "...I'll blow your house /in/..."
Wait... what the fuck? Are you trying to tell me that all of these books now say "blow your house in"? If that's actually true then I might have just become a believer in the Mandela Effect...

I've always loved this concept.
>>
>>18178646
It's sort of poorly named. People tend to think it is a computer code, but it's actually a sort of broad language used by 'them' to communicate with each other in plain sight. If they need to send a message, something sad or scary will hit the news (shootings, etc) and those who know how to decode the message know what to do next.
>>
I like the idea that there are secret groups that are actually fighting the 'bad' secret societies (illuminati, etc.)
>>
>>18178753
>>18179476
Are you fucking daft? It's always been blow your house IN because it rhymes with the previous "...chinny, chin, chIN". The pigs don't say chinny, chin, chOWN.

This is exactly why this ME nonsense can't be trusted, not only do its proponents actively demonstrate and found it on memory lapses they also do not have basic sense to apply logic.
Don't even get me started on that sun bullshit.

Here's my 2 cents after thinking about it a little more. My initial reaction upon hearing the isolated line
>Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in
is that I am absolutely certain that it used to be "blow your house down". However, this is looking at the quote without the rest of the book as context. I am aware of current theories on memory formation which involve a more constructive approach as opposed to mere recording of events; thus, I am inclined to believe that my recollection of the isolated line is warped by other common phrases, such as "bring down the house", etc.

At the end of this brief post on the effect, this exact type of memory-formation influence is discussed. I'd venture that without more significant evidence to the contrary, I'm going with that explanation as my conclusion.
>>
>>18179857
Well sure, but that's no fun.
>>
>>18178621

When the most compelling evidence for something is insisting "you could have sworn" that a brand name with a odd spelling used to go by its more common spelling, it's not that interesting, spooky, or relevant
>>
>>18179863
I agree, but that is precisely why I started this thread. Too many theories on /x/ have an interesting premise or set of observations, but when you follow the path of logic to some of these conclusions, you realize that there's an abundance of simpler, more rational conclusions that people ignore because they're less interesting. It's like intellectually blue-balling yourself.

Surely there must be theories out there that exhibit stronger evidence, or at least promise the prospect of testable hypotheses, than other more conventional conclusions. Or is literally everything on /x/ just BS?

I disagree with some things in the Mandela effect. Apparently they're the Berenstain bears, but -stein is an actual portion of thousands of names. You see the name, don't look at it too intently, and your brain just autocorrects it in the same way you can read "levendor" as "lavender". It's much easier to assume many people read it as Berenstein than to assume there was some kind of dimensional/reality shift that changed it. It assumes people aren't just naturally inattentive. As for the Mandela stuff, idk.

Im not that anon but basically there is a theory among some Ufologists that area 51 ceased having alien related stuff sometime in the mid 90s. That the real testing and storage of alien tech and biological specimens has since moved and now goes on at Dugway Proving grounds now in utah and wright paterson in ohio.

>But area 51 it's still a fancy made base with underground facilities, they're gonna keep using it.
Well yeah, they'll keep using it, but at some point when literally everyone thinks there's some top secret stuff going on there, then they'll be inclined to move the REALLY high risk stuff (ie. aliens) to a less well known area.
>>
>>18181642
>no, it's always been down at least by word of mouth; your books as a kiddie probably had 'down' as well.
See that's the thing though, there's a lot of common phrases related to "bringing down the house", "burning down the house", etc. Just too much stuff that has "down" in it; it makes me think that'd it would be very easy and commonplace to mix up the old quote, especially out of context.

Like that other anon pointed out, when you read the three lines together, there's no way they would have said "down" instead of "in" because it doesn't rhyme. It just doesn't sound right as "down".
