I'm a musician so I have a pretty decent mic. Was actually working on a project when I heard the noise. Only reason I didn't start the recording earlier was because I had my headphones on. Wish I noticed sooner. Will report back here with video if it happens again though.

That's a cat, OP. If it isn't a cat, then it's another common animal like a cat. Maybe if it had a wide range of sounds, but it makes the same sound over and over again. It doesn't even try to make any new or different sounds. Plus, there's this cat that's banging on the door with its hind leg. Even though it doesn't make the same banging noise found in your clip, any animal with a hind leg like that could make those sounds you heard.
