If UFOs are government craft why do they randomly fly them around

Maybe they're actually visitors from other worlds, and they're doing fly bys to intentionally let humans see them.

Maybe they have governments too, and in their governments, using long distance craft to disrupt a planetary society in a way that leads to mayhem and destruction is considered an act of aggression, no matter whose arm threw the molotov cocktail once people start rioting.

Maybe the veeeery vast majority of humans, whether they're on the top or bottom, regardless, can't actually handle the possibility of visitors from another planet, and would panic if not rampage for months, years even, if they realized the implications.

Maybe there's a program to slowly introduce ayys into the collective public sphere, so that revelation of such an event doesn't cause people to chimp out and get the ayy's in trouble for triggering a mass panic, which some would consider an attempt at a hostile takeover of a defenseless world by use of fear tactics.

And maybe all they wanna' do is say hi.

Well, that would depend on what exactly those implications are, wouldn't it? For example, I don't think many people would be upset if the visitors were attractive aliens who were on a mission to spread erotic love throughout the universe.

And since I'm pretty sure at least one person is thinking of this: No, the existence of spacefaring aliens does not disprove the existence of God or any kind of spiritual aspect of existence. Aliens will not necessarily be materialistic atheists.

These are the same types of questions I think about when people say that we are being visited by ET's. Why would an extraterrestrial species use vast amounts of energy to travel the vast distances of space just so they can cut up some cows, anally probe some redneck, and get it on with a chick so they can have alien-human highbred babies? If they can travel interstellar distances with relative ease, how come they've crashed on our planet so much? If they want to communicate with us, why not just hijack our electronic communications or just outright show themselves instead of pressing wheat into circles?

It makes me think that we probably aren't being visited by aliens. If we are being visited, they've obviously solved all their own problems and are pulling off the most elaborate intergalactic trolling operation of all time.
