Lately, I've found that I've been having a lot of dreams that seem to have one thing in common. This man. He is always there, whether he is hidden in a corner, or taking a major role in the dream.
Last weekend of summer. Thank $entity.

sorry to hear max stirner is haunting your dreams
must be annoying as fuck
>>18092459
Who is Max Stirner?
>>18092440
Is it him alone or is there additionally a Union of Egoists?
>>18092471
It's him and some ass named "Hegel".
>>18092468
>>18092813
Seems like a spooky bloke.
>>18092440
This looks like Antonio Gramsci drawn in the style of the iconic Max Stirner sketch that Engels did.
>>18092440
Is this bait?
>>18092832
No. He has me really spooked.
pretty sure it's leonard from big bang theory
>>18092840
>spooked
I know this is bait, but I'll bite. What does the man do in your dreams when he takes a major role?
>>18092850
He usually helps me in revealing truth.
>>18092440
Are you a PoC OP? If so, a spook has been spooked by a spook.

/pol/tards escape containment all the time, but you don't often see /lit/fags trolling on other boards.

I've never been to /lit/.

Assuming that you are not baiting me (which I find difficult to believe), and that you really are seeing Antonio Gramsci in your dreams (for that is who the figure you have drawn must be, for reasons which I can explain if you want), then it stands to reason that someone close to you, or someone you have regular contact with, is some type of Marxist, which would be a pretty common experience, since virtually everyone in the western world affiliates themselves ideologically with either Jesus Christ, Karl Marx, or a little bit of both. Gramsci could be a stand in for this person.
>>18092819
Pretty much.
He along with a few others coined Nihilism and Existentialism as a philosophy.
>also to, that particular picture is actually kind of like a meme. It's in textbooks and pretty synonymous with Steiner. I saw OPs picture and it instantly clicked with that, like its engrained in my mind or something. Weird man and ancient meme
>>18092440
he might be your handler, op. you could be a victim of mind control. what happens in those dreams? and is there other times this sort of thing has occurred?
>>18092878
You are absolutely wrong.
>>18092882
/leftypol/ counts.
>>18092894
You are a spook.
Your dreams sound pretty spooky.
>>18095448
Who is this "/leftypol/"? Sounds like an autist.
>>18095465
>I could be?
What do you mean by "Spook"?
>a Nigger?
I'm not a nigger but sometimes I feel like one.
>>18096589
>nigger
>>18096593
And you're not?
>>18096631
Race is a spook.
>>18096644
>/x/ is decidedly un-spooky
This explains so much.
Stirner wasn't really a nihilist. He was just very concerned with voluntary subservience and thought that people could, with some effort, become independent (or at least non-subservient entities). His opposition to morals wasn't an opposition to ethics per se, so much as it was that morals were imposed from without, by society. He thought it would be better for a person if he or she decided what to believe what was right or wrong for himself or herself.
He can be seen as a predecessor to Foucault, but in terms of his "discover your true self" bit, he almost reminds me of Crowley.
I actually really like Stirner.
