I thought lavender incense would work but it's not.

Getting the house blessed by a priest will likely calm ghosts down if not make them leave. Bad entities like demons will only get enraged by this though so know what you are dealing with.

By the way, I'd stick with a Catholic priest just to be safe. They have centuries of experience fighting spirits and the spirits have centuries of experience being fought by them.

You don't have to pay anything though it would be nice to give him money for gas and food. It might be worth it to hire some sort of spirit medium or something to identify what you are facing... remember that a demon would only get really fucking mad at you if a priest blessed the house.
