I don't know much about the Occult so I want to get a book out of interest. I was looking at Grimorium Verum, The Necronomicon and The Key of Solomon the King: Clavicula Salomonis. What book should I get out of the three or should I get a completely different book?
I'm not looking for any specific information, it just caught my interest and when I read about things I like to have a physical copy.
"Three Books of Occult Philosophy" by Henry Cornelius Agrippa ( Freake & Tyson version has really excellent footnotes)
You are aware The Necronomicon is fiction, right?

>Grimorium Verum
Pretty good stuff, relates to the keys of solomon in the way that it is very much inspired by solomonic magick in general. It's actually around 200 years younger than it claims, so it was most probably made up by a literate eccentric for shits and giggles, but you never know considering the content inside. Either the grimorium or any solomonic/goetic texts should do fine for entry level.
>The Necronomicon
assuming you mean the simon necronomicon, in which case avoid at all costs. it's just mesopotamian legends and religion mixed in with cthulhu mythos trash, and it's not done well. very much for lovecraft fans who want a small kick, but other than that it's pretty pointless.

You don't check the catalog do you OP?

what's higher level reading?
What are you most intrested in?
Meditations, raising Kundalini, yoga, Enochian stuff, alchemy, Voodo, Kabbalah.
What u need senpai?

>It's actually around 200 years younger than it claims, so it was most probably made up by a literate eccentric for shits and giggles
Probably older than that. I'd say Black Pullet, et al., are more likely to be complete shit in terms of 'reality' - with respect to the literate eccentric it MAY have been some Church affiliated compiler of witchcraft and sorcery given the obscure sigils it contains.

>simonomicon
Another reason to avoid it is that it appears to funnel all effort to the author(s).
>>18056032
Any iteration of Lemegeton.
>necronomicon
You're a moron. Stop trying before you hurt yourself.
>>18056202
Enochian and alchemy seem like things I would be interested in learning more about
>>18056227
For alchemy check out books by fulcanelli. He succeded but his teachings are hidden within the books. Read the one about cathedrals first

Pick something you want and i`ll give it to you

This so much
But Necronomicon that was written in 1586 and even older are true mine of information and knowledge

For Enochian, we don't have a good general text. Tyson's, Enochian Magic for Beginners, is a decent, if somewhat hyperbolic, overview.
Speaking of wch, I'm getting the impression that the Dirge believes in, or is at least hoping for, an actual, physical eschaton. Go figure.

>But Necronomicon that was written in 1586 and even older are true mine of information and knowledge
kek.
Nope.
>>18056268
Beginners seems like the best place to start for me
>>18056268
>Necronomicon that was written in 1586
No such edition exists. The one that gets passed around as "John Dee's" is from Tyson.

Then get on it, looks like folks have been making copies of the library (a good development).
>please remember that my updates do not automatically reflect in your mirror, you'll need to recopy.

For what it's worth, the beginner's folder, iirc, does not have much grimoire content.

Could you tell me what does include the sex magic one?
(I think related to sex, ofcourse.. but its intriguing what "magic" is behind that, like to take energy from the activity itself?)
Is it good? can you share it if you would recommend it to a friend? thanks.

Could you please give me something about chaos magic and sex magic. I have read liber null and condensed chaos. Also, awesome collection man, would read 10/10
>>18056358
Sexual magick has a series of Thelemic and Kaula documents outlining the basics of including the sexual act in ritual.

Thank you dude very appreciated.

I seriously have no idea what's going on.
Last thread about half the people reported zero issues, and I have no problem loading it. I've gotten no DMCA notices, or other warning type materials.
Does the full structure link include everything? If not, is there a link I can get for that?
