Every night when I'm dreaming, the very end of my dream is purely auditory. As far as recent memory goes it's just a song or two playing in its entirety before there's a fade into me waking up.
Last night it was Al Stewart's "Year of the Cat". Does anyone else experience this strange end-of-dream phenomenon?
Every night when I'm starting to feel tired, I get flashbacks of the dream I had before, when I woke up. This has been going on for over a decade.
I am effectively living a split life.

That's just the end credits playing. Every night when you sleep, a chip in your brain broadcasts your dreams to worldwide audiences.
Can't wait for tonight's show.

Not every night but yes. I think this is because my imagination tends to be more auditory. I can hold a tone or melody in my mind much more easily than, say, visualizing a picture.

My last dream my family and I were considering buying Kanye West's bathtub design. It was the size of a swimming pool and had a little sitting area. Am I retarded?

Dreams aren't purely visual like that. My last dream I was considering in thought how I want the layout of my next bathroom to resemble as closely as possible the first bathroom I vividly remember having to myself. I don't know what an audience would get from that, my dreams are seldom very entertaining.
