Looks like the spillway to a dam.
>>18016185
I dont know but imagine falling into it...
What's sad is "urban explorers" usually leave these places trashed and break shit to enter leaving a mess
And if they don't they upload videos of them going and other people go trash the place.
Especially those abandoned mental hospitals and shit. They're a piece of history. But they get tagged and fucking destroyed by degenerates. Might as well go into a museum and break in to the mummy exhibit and blow your nose on king tut
>>18017585
Most abandoned buildings were fucked the moment they were abandoned. They are abandoned for a reason, you know. Mostly the the only reason, they dont get demolished is because nobody is using the land anyway so they dont bother until they need too. Your analogy to an active museum with a mummy exhibit makes no sense at all and your emotional attachment to unusable buildings is retarded
>>18012730
This is beautiful
>>18017585
yeah how dare they paint a ruined wall in an empty hospital, so much original hospital wall paint is lost this way and it is just so sad and disrespectful of someone probably
even worse is when they break an object that was discarded 40 years earlier, trash is sacred
> climb into reservoir facility
> paths lead to sewers that are 100m underground
> can hear workers inside in the middle of the night
> perhaps it's just machines
> it's got to be just machines
> the roar of the turbines
> myself in the woods
> in the middle of the valley
> anything can see me yet I can see none

Here's a little story
>be me
>14 or 15 years old
>live in shithole small town in the middle of the arizona desert
>come across trailer in the middle of nowhere
>looks like it's been abandoned for a long time
>lots of swastika, pentagram, pot leaf graffiti inside (typical high school tier shit)
>decide to fuck around and be dumb teenagers
>smash some windows
>try to knock down walls unsuccessfully
>hear friend shout from behind trailer
>run back there
>find a well with heavy cover
>takes all three of us to move it
>overpowering smell of death and decay coming up from well
>I shine a flashlight down well
>see something large - roughly man-sized - rush down tunnel to escape light
>scares the fuck out of me, drop flashlight down well
>hastily return cover to well with friends
>nope the fuck out of Dodge
/r/ing the greentext of the anons that find a strange vertical cemetery full of bodies.
