I'm getting scared /x/. I've never been a believer in ghosts or anything like that, but something that feels unexplainable has been happening in my apartment.
Saturday
>Leave my apartment to spend some time with friends, and turn off all my lights as I always do.
>Come home later that night and find the lights in my hallway on. I distinctly remember turning them off, but brush it off as just forgetting.
Sunday
>My grandma calls and says her kitchen sink is clogged and asks if I could come help her clear it up. I agree. Make sure I turn off the lights in my hallway. Unclog grandma's sink and do some other chores for her since she is pretty old. Come home to find the lights in my hallway on. Ok, I thought, probably just maintentance guy coming in and doing something, even though it seems like nothing in my apartment has been touched.
Monday (yesterday)
>Leave for work, make sure to turn off the lights in my hallway. Feeling kind of nervous at work because I fear the lights will be on again when I come home. Come home from work to find that the light in my hallway AND in my kitchen are indeed turned on.
>At this point I feel like I am overreacting/psychotic or someone is visiting my apartment and leaving them on, altough I'm the only one with a key.
Today

>I put 3 rows of 3 different soda/beer cans on top of each other in front of my apartment door (on the inside ofc) and take notes of the order they are in.
>I reasoned that anyone not knowing they are there would surely kick them all over the floor when coming in, and there would be a very slim chance of putting them back in the same order I left them in. 3 rows of beer/soda cans with certain order.
>Come home today, carefully open my door to find the cans in the same orderI left them in.
>The lights in my hallway on, aswell as my bathroom, and my fridge door open, but everything else seems to be untouched.
I'm scared.

Maybe some homeless person is squatting there without you knowing and coming out when you leave and hiding when you come back...iv read stories like that the one in like Japan or something someone lived in somebody's house for like 10 years or some shit lol..you have any crawl spaces or anywhere someone could hide?

Place something light (like a small piece of paper) on top of your front door.
If someone opens it, the paper will fall. If it's fallen when you get home someone opened the door.

I recommend putting flour over the switches. Look up the apartments history. And, if you can, try hiding a few cameras in the hallway, kitchen and wherever else weird shit is happening. Hopefully it turns out to be a prank
