I saw some dude on facebook post this exact same string a week ago on facebook. Its the same string snowden posted a few days ago. Im not sure why this guy is on my friend's list but he posts a bunch of weird shit about the government and what not. Ideas?

It's a SHA256 (MD5) checksum. Literally nothing but a means to verify that someone got an un-tampered file (think verifying a torrent for instance.)
