When your spirit is fractured and you have no faith in yourself (no faith in God), demons will fill the hole in your psyche and ruin you, in order to bring you to their down to their level.

Only those that willingly relinquish their eternal self by communicating with demons will be affected.

A Demon can do nothing to you, because it is either not real in actuality, or it is just a metaphor for just a part of you.
