The house was damaged during Rehmeyers murder by Blymire who believed he had been cursed by Rehmeyer after seeking consul from the River Witch of Marietta. They burned Rehmeyer alive in his kitchen, which is where the door leads. I'm unsure how much Rehmeyers family refurbished after, but the front of the house received work. Here's a pic of the front.
