I am in the Mendocino national forest for work for the next two weeks. Does anyone here know anything about the local spooks/cryptids? Are there chupacabras this far north? How about skinwalkers or Bigfoot?
You'll sometimes find random staircases. Dont ever touch them

What happens if you climb them?

bumping for interest.

Don't follow the railroad tracks. Stay on the trail. Do not follow the tracks.
Don't go walking in the woods alone or risk getting fucked up by paranoid growers. It's called murder mountain for a reason.

Really bad things.
Either it might happen to you or someone else but something always happens

Yöu will not find anything, it is a fucking national forest, not a piece of uncharted wild jungle in the middle of the amazon rainforest...
Seriously, don't worry.

Battalion mentioned the growers during in-briefing, but indicated they had gotten a lot less dangerous in the last few years after the Russians got pushed out of the area.

So what, they just stop at the border or something? I've heard stories about them in West Texas.

That's been my general experience the whole time I've been working with the forest service. Never seen anything too weird, although I did hear a lot of stories about skinwalkers in southern Colorado, and of course Bigfoot up in region 6.
