No but if I read an old book, movie, music, podcast, thread even I feel like i was just thinking that. Some times to a very alarming degree. I started to think stuff like supernatural, divine, maybe ESP.

I have had about 6 dreams come true to some degree in my years here on earth. One was me having my neck sliced on an airplane by an arab a week before 9/11. I was too young to know anything about terrorism or anything to point towards that and no my parents were not talking pol. I have had premonitions come true about another half dozen times that hit me when I was awake. One occurred when I was awake riding in a car. I felt something, turned to my gf to express it and told her "I think my dog is dead" two days later my parents told me my dog died two days ago. Another awake one was getting a vision that my ex, who I still cared about at the time, was pregnant when I was hiking thousands of miles away. A few months later I heard she got an abortion. The predicted conception date came out and it was the week I had the feeling. I have deja vu all the time, but nothing as creepy as the above.

Mine more often seem maddening then predictive. lol like I'll check the date on anything produced because It'll seem like it was live. Even old ass books with text no CGI or whatever. Shit while I'm here unburdening myself. I will also get the weirdest feelings like a touch or large release of nerve stuff. It does not always occur on my body I can hear it on near by objects. I smoked way too much weed when i was young and watched too many movies i think an over active imagination probably.

I see. I just asked because the way it works for me is either as explained above where I'll suddenly have constant thoughts about a random person and them apearing and such. or I'll see little glimpses of something im going to see some point in the future. nothin really notable just like a piture of a random part of a room or object

and I also don't like trying to force it because I get paranoid and think im gonna see something fucked up and i'll be waiting around to see if its gonna happen or not. and forcing it is rarely accurate

Same poster, I want to elaborate about what temporal lobe epilepsy because for the longest time I thought I was going mad.


It's a form of partial seizure that results in a very strong Deja Vu effect. Where suddenly you remember something along an "alternate" reality or "all your dreams at the same time". And it's like a memory dump of all the errata and random thoughts you've had over the last few months come out at once. It's kinda overwhelming but not really much to make a big deal about. Usually, for me, there's a "moral" component. Such that I get either a bad feeling that I haven't been doing something I need to be doing, or that I am doing alright in my current endeavors.

I'll give you an example. In highschool I was sitting in computer programming class and it hits me.... I get a rush of that memory junk and then a sudden realization that I've been slacking off and how hard my mom has been working to provide for me. So, I immediately get up ask the teacher to see my counselor so that I could arrange for something she suggested. She had suggested that I do correspondence courses to graduate early or to gain college credit and finish high school faster, and it was something she worked out with me personally because I was having health problems but was so apathetic about. I would just outright miss a ton of school and not care. So this TLE would often push me in directions where I feel like I need to go. But from what I understand, it can be slightly different for everyone. I was diagnosed some years later when I had a stroke, but that's a different issue.

TLE is generally harmless and blows over in about 30 minutes. Although I usually end up with a migraine and feel exhuasted afterwards. Contributing factors are stress, lack of sleep, or too much caffeine. So if you feel like you go crazy in a similar vein, get it checked out, might just be a brain glitch. I breathed a huge sigh of relief after I learned I wasn't going mad during those times.

I had this once, for like 2 days I was basically an entirely different person, had no interest in the internet or videogames and wanted to get out of the NEET life
was back to normal after that though, dunno what my brain was thinking
