i like it a lot and it has been a good source of inspiration and guidance on my personal quest down the rabbithole.

the artwork is also great and i really enjoy the fact that he doesn't take himself super seriously, unlike most occult how-to writers. instructions are easy to follow and condense age-old wisdom in a way that does justice to the traditions they come from. i'm especially thinking of the influence of the Vedas here, i.e. visualization exercises and breath control as catalysts for mystical experience.

super rad book. doesn't Bluefluke post here? if you see this, Mr. Arch-Traitor, thank you for bringing this into the world.

You know what I love about this manual? Apart from teh general tone... I love that it gives you a real quick overview.

Of course you really should dive a bit deeper afterwards and it's a shame Bluefluke didn't include a bibliography or some kind of "next steps" section...

But hey, it's a great way to give the curious a sense of what's going on with all this magick stuff everybody's always talking about. Occultists get so DODGY when you ask them what's involved with magick, and it's refreshing to see someone just lay it all out real quick without expecting you to study volume upon volume before you even make up your mind about whether it's of interest or not.

It is a bit short though, lots cut out. Best used as a jumping-off point for further research.
