hey /x/ do any of you guys know how to cure sleep paralysis?
actually im not sure if it is sleep paralysis because from all the stories i've heard of sleep paralysis it sounds like nothing i've experienced.
so i'll be dreaming or whatever but then i'll realize that I am in fact dreaming. I'll start to hear sounds from outside like my roomates talking, the television and such, but I'll be stuck in this dreaming state and it'll feel like I can't move and i'll try to force myself to move but I can only move a finger and I can feel my blanket but i cant force myself awake, and its even worse that im claustrophobic, it's the worst feeling in the world.
is this sleep paralysis?
and how do I stop this from happening again?

Two things:
First, this is probably happening because of your sleep posture. Changing that should solve your problem.
Second, you can break out of sleep paralysis if you just button mash. That's only halfway a joke. You can get out of you force against it hard enough. I know because I've done it.

find the right pillow for you, there are pillow with specials shapes who support you head / neck better
don't sleep on the back
avoid sleeping in the afternoon
if it comes, try to wiggle your toes

Laughed at the button mash thing but you're right just over power it

That happens to me too, pretty sure it mostly occurs when I've been overworked or stressed.
The one time I had sleep paralysis I realized what was happening and made myself really fucking angry and I guess that broke me out of it.

Protip: Sleep on your side instead of your back.
