That actually goes down at raves. First hand experience, two of the other who were guinea pigs with me died (OD'd). I know what you're going to say oh that wasn't real psychedelic drugs than, no shit. They don't care they just experiment whatever and don't care about your life in the least, they won't tell you what it actually is or they could be lying for all it matters. Lead to a 3 month psychotic episode after surviving the first night and its taken more than a year for me to recover. Ended in the hospital having withdrawals or attacks after those 3 months, and the slow recovery started from there.

I may be naive, but not dumb enough to take random drugs at a rave. I know they don't give a shit about me living. If I were in a worse case scenario, where everybody I love is dead and I ultimately alone, then I'd do it for a interesting suicide. If I were to survive, then have traumatic issues to haunt me for the rest of my life, well tough shit. Like aura reading or automatic writing, but they're also easy to debunk as not paranormal, now we can device some tests that could give a paranormal explanation form some of them.

For the ones that wanted to be lab rats, they can try the easier ones at home.

Dowsing have been tested and documented many times, there's a lot of old research on that, and it's probably doable.

I don't know why empathy is on this list, but that's something you could try.
