I've asked before but no one could help.
Pic related is the symbol in question.
Here's some backround info:
>it is a part of a bigger symbol
>it's from a video game (SH3)
>do NOT dismiss it just because it's vidya, I've personally done some research on the whole symbol (I'll show you in the next post) and all the other symbols included have a real-life significance. the gooks that made the game knew what they were doing, and they were familiar with the occult
>I believe that it most likely is a signature of an entity (most likely a demon) or a sigil
>it might be a part of Lucifer's Seal, as there is some resemblance (will show you in a later post)
>in the original whole symbol, the symbol in question is vertical, not horizontal, but I believe that its true placement should be horizontal
>it also may or may not be mirrored and/or inverted. you know how some symbols and sigils are traditionally drawn inverted in some rituals

I had a dream once that I was in a primative setting. Almost like cave men times. And I looked at my arm and saw a tattoo. It was just a simple triangle in a circle. Hold up there, son, you can't use Japanese like you would a Western alphabet. Those are Katakana, and not used for your typical everyday writing. Hiragana is the more common set, and both are used with kanji.

That was my first guess too. The resemblance is indeed obvious. Yet, none of the sigils 100% matches the symbol. Of course, mine could be a simplified version of say, Michael's sigil, but I can't be sure.

Hey this is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of symbols.

As a kid I would draw this on absolutely everything, next to my name, on desks at school, on bathroom stall walls, in the side of my notebooks, I would also incorporate them if any sort of drawing I would do.. Like if I had a doodle that had a flag in it, this would be on the flag. Also my name is Max, so I would make the X this symbol. I have never had any conscious reasoning for it, if anyone knows anything about this symbol please let me know.

>>17776587
>Archangel Zadkiel is known as the angel of mercy. He helps people approach God for mercy when they've done something wrong, encouraging them that God cares and will be merciful to them when they confess and repent of their sins, and motivating them to pray. Just as Zadkiel encourages people to seek the forgiveness that God offers them, he also encourages people to forgive others who have hurt them, and helps deliver divine power that people can tap into to enable them to choose forgiveness, despite their hurt feelings. Zadkiel helps heal emotional wounds by comforting people and healing their painful memories. He helps repair broken relationships by motivating estranged people to show mercy to each other.

The normie answer is that Zadkiel is a comic book character

I don't have a photo, but I've been wondering about the origins of the "Bent Cross" crucifix. Some say it is occult or satanic and others say it was previously banned for mocking Christ but reinstated relatively recently. I've not been able to find any reliable sources about it as they all either come from the Church itself, which I don't trust, or from websites with no cited sources.

Ah, here's a photo.
>>
>>17780179
>Your question about the bent cross had me surfing the internet for about 1/2 hour without an answer. I was dismayed by the allegations that the bent cross implied that Pope John Paul II was a heretic, a satanist, or the Anti-Christ. Here is one website that refutes these claims: http://www.shasta.com/sphaws/bentcross.html
I tried to find out when the conspiracy against Pope John Paul II began based on this ridiculous claim. Unfortunately, most websites do not put dates on their material.

>I did find out that what non-Catholics refer to as the bent cross is referred to as the papal crucifix by Catholics. The best answer I could find about the curved shape of the crucifix was that the crucifix is on the Pope's pastoral staff which is representative of the shepard's crook, which in turn is a symbol the Good Shepherd.

>Finally, I tried to find out the name of the artist who designed the cross, hoping that there would be an answer there. But there was no information available on the person who designed the papal crucifix. My own artistic interpretation would be that the crucifix is bent to represent the weight of the sins of the world bearing down on Christ. Jesus may appear to some as disfigured because he is suffering. We cannot fully appreciate our salvation through Jesus Christ, if we do not appreciate his sacrifice and we cannot appreciate his sacrifice if we downplay the extent of suffering that Jesus endured. The papal crucifix may be offensive to some, because they don't want to see this side of Jesus. Perhaps, this is because they don't want to take up their cross in times of trial and suffering as Jesus did.

>I hope this helps and I hope someone else can provide a more comprehensive answer from the Catholic perspective.

Found just by googling "bent cross crucifix". First page.

This very well may not have an actual meaning to it, but I just started doodling this symbol in all my school notebooks and kinda become like the sign I use for myself if I'm in a game or something of the such. Just wondered if anyone knows if it has anything else attached to it, although it most likely does not.

As for that symbol on the right it possibly an alternate version of the Bartlett Family (one of the founding families of silent hill) symbol, due to its resemblance to a spade. It's from a vision I had a long time ago. I tried to recreate it as a gif.
I think it's an ophanim or a beholder like thing. There in the corner of my room it came in like ripples in space as it coiled it's self into the physical realm. Translucent like a mirage on a hot day and pulsating as eyes twisted in every direction. A strong sense of dread came over me as my room filled with a sea of eyes. It wasn't benevolent thing, it was menacing, over flowing with a terrifying presence.

Weird night that was. The wind stopped blowing and the clouds boiled in a purplish light. The same day Katrina hit, this vision took place. I always wondered if i had some part to play in it as I was in my room reaching at the strange clouds willing them to be destructive.

It's been years ago though, i just wanted to see it again. so i made this.

Can I ask the question in reverse?

What symbol, if any is widely recognized as signaling "this person is a liar?" I'm thinking of a pentagram, since Samael / Lucifer is described as the deceiving on in those kinds of stories, except I think Satanists would get the wrong idea. "Oh, nice Pentagram. This person's legit!"

Ermot introduces the magician into the magic of the waterelement and furthermore teaches him how to manufacture from this element magic volts for certain purposes. Ermot will gladly place his servants at the
magician's disposal. His fundamental qualities are to make human beings love each other by help of the water-elements. With women Ermot is, in this respect, especially influentual.

But in retrospect it doesn't look that similar.

Each one has a meaning and power, Fehu for example, when you read it in an Oracle it means abundance, money, being capable of acquire what you want by paying its price, it it is inverted it means the opposite, and if you carve it in a piece of wood, taint it with your blood (or even saliva if you are not that hardcore) and sing it's name 3 times, it will bring wealth to you.

I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but I keep seeing this thing in my dreams. It's a large tree made of glass in a huge white room. In the middle is an eye, and there is vines and leaves hanging from the branches, and some upside down flowers. When I try to walk, which I often cant do, the flowers move and I hear a really loud noise that usually wakes me up. I usually wake up within minutes of falling asleep when I have this dream and it's starting to bug me because it interrupts my sleep. I tried drawing a picture of what I see, but I don't know if that's any help.

I really like the design of this, really got me thinking. Allow me to share my thoughts. I will try to keep this organized, though I am going to jump around quite a bit.

Six wings immediately conjures the image of a Seraph. The Seraphim are the highest order of angels, circling the throne of god chanting "holy, holy, holy". The triple invocation of holiness is the origin of the Eastern Orthodox "Trisagion" (thrice holy).

There's a lot of conflicting information about this, but some medieval sources (or so Gustav Davidson has led me to believe) name Leviathan as a fallen Seraph.

Seraphim are often linked to tetramorphs (chimeric creatures) in medieval religious art, as in attached image.

The references to Yahweh's battle with the sea monster Leviathan in the Hebrew scritpures has often been associated with Marduk's battle with Tiamat in the Babylonian creation myth. Tiamat is a goddess of the ocean and considered to be the embodiment of primordial chaos. She is also the mother of dragons, merpeople, and other assorted monsters. She shares many aspects with the Greek Titan Goddess "Ceto", who's name means "sea monster", and who also bore monsterous children.

Tiamat is often depicted as a chimeric dragon, as in attached image.

The triskele within the eye is what really made everything click in a bizare conspiracy sort of way. A triskele behind the head of Medusa is a common greek image. Medusa was a Gorgon (Chimeric monsters), and the daughter of the Titan Goddess Ceto.

Triskeles represent the divinity of the number three, as do Seraphim. Tiamat is linked to the Seraph Leviathan AND the greek goddess Ceto, whose daughter just happens to appear on coins and reliefs all throughout the ancient world with a triskele as in the attached image.

I saw this metal structure in my town a couple of years ago in front of an old office building. Both the building and statue have since been taken down. I traced the symbol back to the seal of A∴A∴ (Aleister Crowley) but I've always wondered why it was put there. Are there any other uses/meanings of this symbol? Any other buildings sporting it? Hope someone can provide some additional insight.

Damn good band! A little background on the logo, copypastad from le wikipedia.

The hook-and-cross logo was designed by Bill Gawlik in January 1972, and appears on all of the band's albums. In Greek mythology, "... the hook-and-cross symbol is that of Kronos (Cronus), the king of the Titans and father of Zeus ... and is the alchemical symbol for lead (a heavy metal), one of the heaviest of metals."Sandy Pearlman considered this, combined with the heavy and distorted guitar sound of the band and decided the description "heavy metal" would be aptly applied to Blue Öyster Cult's musical sound. The hook-and-cross symbol also resembled the astrological symbol for Saturn, the Roman god of agriculture, and the sickle, which is associated with both Kronos (Cronus) and Saturn (both the planet and the Roman god). The logo's "... metaphysical, alchemical and mythological connotations, combined with its similarity to some religious symbols gave it a flair of decadence and mystery ..."

This seal represents the physical magical working space. The triangle represents the seal for your desired outcome, flanked on either side by candles, fire burning behind it (perhaps burning herbs?) before it are two objects, and the entire space is surrounded by a magic circle. The objects in question, would be material ritual components, my guess is bowls. So what is in the bowls? I checked my copy of The Black Pullet so I could get a better look, and I believe they are actually labeled "Ass." since the "A" is slightly taller than either "s". I don't have the time to look right now, but the period leads me to believe it's probably shorthand for the French (the book being French, after all) noun "Assemblage", which means "a collection of things that have been gathered". So yeah, bowl 1 and bowl 2 of material compents e.g. cat's heart, buckthorn, eye of newt, the blood of an albino dwarf, a photo of David Hasselhoff, etc.

Actually, I was already in here. In response to your question, I copy pasted because I remembered a bit about the "occult" origins of the logo from reading an interview with the band some years back, but couldn't be arsed to look for it at the moment.

Feel free to read my other posts, which I did type out, and are purely the product of my own studies.

Yeah, you spell Berserker in runic. The old Norse spelling is berserkr (plural berserkir) because the went into battle wearing a shirt (serkr) made from a bear (ber) pelt.

Use the Elder Futhark for super awesome roots heathenry bonus points!

Elder Futhark is pre-viking age and can't be used for direct translations like that.

In younger Futhark that was used in the viking age, berserker would be spelled out like this: ᛒᛁᚱᛋᛁᚱᚴᛁᚱ or ᛒᛅᛁᚱᛋᛁᚱᚴᛁᚱ.

Runes are phonetic sounds and not letters in the same way that the latin alphabet is.
