OP post a pic of your eyes, just look into the camera. I can tell you.

If it's really weak and just following you, I probably can't see it. If you have a strong one I can see it pretty easy.
>>

when you walk, are you walking, or are you on auto pilot. lack of focus in what you do leaves you open. by focusing you are closing the mind.

you can't

you can't get rid of it, and there are no signs
why do demons possess people?
they don't, because they too busy being nonexistent

Demons dont exist.
>>
>>17753098
The demons are powerful, and the Bible indicates that any human being who trifles with them is entering foolish and dangerous territory (2 Peter 2:10-12; Acts 19:13-16). However, though the demons/fallen angels are enemies of God and humanity, they are defeated enemies. Satan may be the prince of this world, but greater is He who is in us than those who are in the world (Ephesians 2:2; 1 John 4:4).
>>
>>17752927
Okay I've dealt with a few possessions... not all that many, I mean they're pretty rare, but they happen. And from the few I've observed and the ones my contemporaries have dealt with it's 99% of the time caused by a feedback loop.

Basically you worry about being possessed, and the worry itself summons a demon. Your fear lets it in a tiny bit, and it inspires you to worry about being possessed more, so you get a little more scared, and the door opens more, etc...

But listen: if you're at a point where you're in doubt, you're not possessed. At all. Period. You would KNOW man, that shit is dramatic. "The Exorcist" was a bit ridiculous (poltergeist shit and vomiting is not too common even among actual possessions) but... people around you would at the very least be calling in a mental professional. No question.

So relax. Get out and get some sunshine. Cut way way down on carbs and sugars - in a lot of people they can cause a kind of depression that exacerbates this whole thing.

Also, stay the fuck away from /x/ or horror movies or anything like that. Listen to positive music, watch some comedies, do something nice for someone today, make a point of saying something kind to someone where there's no possibility of getting anything in return... keep that up for a couple weeks and the "door" will be good and tightly shut and you'll feel a hell of a lot better.
>>
>>17753142
thanks for the post, well it never occured to me that i could be possessed, it was just after i was told by other people who apparently could read it, im probably not possessed

though i was curious to know what signs you could look out for, in other people as well, how to spot it?

thank you for the tips about how to feel better but i dont really see how that would help, im not at peace with this world and a comedy or some nice words dont help me

re "signs"... honestly it manifests itself like fits... screaming, clawing at things, etc... and only in private the first couple of times. After that it's around other people. Really the issue ends up boiling down to: is it possession or is it schizophrenia? So the process is to go through some stuff to work that out.

re: "not at peace" ... you're taking your intelligence too seriously. Logic can rationalize incorrect world views, especially with a keen mind. Shut the brain off and expose it to pleasant things. Get outside of your thoughts and get perspective.

Getting to the point where you're "not at peace" is a side effect of a lack of the things I detailed in the previous post. I'm telling you, it'll make a big difference.

BUT BUT BUT... there's one other thing I should point out to you: a big part of you wants to feel distressed, wants to feel attacked, wants to be a victim. That's not from some external force. That's a part of who you are. And that's the part that rejects happiness in favor of... other stuff.

I'm not making fun of you. It's really fucking common. Just acknowledge it. Say "oh, look at that, there's a part of me that's super happy about my being unhappy." It's the first step to a much more fascinating world.

/psychic out

When I close my eyes I can't see anything. Just darkness. I can't really visualize anything in my head. Nor can I picture the faces of people I'm very close with. Could anybody offer me some insight on the potential paranormal causes of loss of mental vision / imagination? I always hear people talk about seeing things when they close their eyes and visualizing things in their mind but it's a completely foreign concept to me. All I see is black..

Lack of practice.

Try meditation.

How much stimulants do you take a day?

Coffe and sugar, count only if you take a lot.

And answer about the dream thing.

I'm beggining to catch on your problem.

Try this one look at it for a while close your eyes and rotate it.

Just by looking straight at it, for long enough you will create a residual image in your mind( I hope), rotate that residual image in your head.

I know what it will look like if it's rotated because it's a simple shape. I can't picture it though and I definitely can't picture it moving or rotating with my eyes closed. When I close my eyes I think of three squares with one on the side but I can't see it. What the fuck is wrong with me?!
>>
>>17753428
For starters you have a shitty imagination.

This sounds like a mistery, and it's a very rare condition cause most people can do this.

I'm going to hit the books cause I have never seen anything like it.

My best guess is that is related to the communication network between your occipital and pre frontal cortex.

You can probably do it, but you can't be aware that you are doing it.

Don't worry, it doesn't sound like a crippling problem.
>>
>>17753228
This is really, really, really common.

An explanation... ok first thing: the question "why" is for leisure time. If used during healing time it's just a source of needless distress.

BUT... the big reason why we do this "a part of me that's super happy about my being unhappy" thing is that when we feel upset we feel important. We are the thing people write songs and stories about. Look at us, how majestic we are in our misery.

Misery is quite addictive if you're not careful.

Sorry dude I really do have to get off /x/... came back onto the board when I felt you calling but I really gotta go, got some work to do before my client comes in... choose sunshine man. It's the power move.

>>17753443

I've also noticed that when I close my eyes I become immensely disoriented. I believe if you asked a normal person to close their eyes and walk from say the kitchen to the bathroom they could do it without to much trouble. When I close my eyes I no longer know where I am, I immediately forget my location in the room. I don't know my distance from the walls or where any furniture is. I just tried to move through my house that I've lived in for seven years with my eyes closed and couldn't get anywhere. If I lose my vision I'm fucked.
>>

But that's visual orientation do you have kynetic orientation?

Can you tell what an object is, just by touching it, with your eyes closed?

I have a conceptual understanding of what things look like. I recognize the shape and texture of objects when I pick them up and can identify it based on that. I'm not sure how it would go with a complicated object I've never held before.

>>
>>17752927
demons and devils are very good actors so you might need to open your third eye
but in some situations, they aren't even possessed, they are quite literally the living dead, a corpse brought back to life with magic.

I was a very imaginative kid though, constantly playing make believe and running around in my own world. When I couldn't sleep my parents told me to count sheep and it made absolutely no sense. I can't see any sheep jumping over a fence to count, the closest I can come if moving my eyes in an arc through the blackness over a nonexistent fence. I've only very recently realized that the way I think is different than most people. All I that goes on within my mind when I'm "thinking" is an internal monologue.

http://www.neatorama.com/2011/04/12/if-a-blind-man-can-suddenly-see-would-he-be-able-to-distinguish-objects-by-sight-alone/

Basically, blind people can distinguish between a column and a cube by touch, but when given the ability to see they cannot translate the tactile difference into visually distinguishing between the objects. At least it takes a while for the brain to "get used" to combining the two sensory inputs.
>>
>>17753553

Demons are just spirits. There are good ones, there are bad ones, same as angels.

They posses you because you let them and if you don't want/need them then just tell them so. It stings more than anything else you could say to them. If gory thoughts enter your mind, try playing with them. Change something, start small and work your way to making it as positive as you like.

If you're experiencing psychological distress as a result of using this site, you should probably stop.

Not true.

I think I suffer from this a bit, the wanting to be a victim thing. It's either a trait I inherited from just watching my mom (she's a lot like that) or I'm just meshed in the with the hordes of young people who seem to want to have loads of things wrong with them. I think the reason so many people fall into this trap is that they're just not getting sympathy/appreciation from other, more positive sources. So you end up with all these people claiming to have a mental illness because life is stressful, or all these girls who have a bad sexual experience and then decide to call it rape (not saying rape culture doesn't exist, it does, but there are definitely some really selfish people taking advantage of it in this way).

You're not possessed by demons because they don't exist.
Your friends (assuming you have friends) aren't possessed because demons don't exist.
There are no signs because this never happens.
You can't get rid of it if you never got it in the first place.
And demons don't posses people in the first place, cause they're not real.

He's talking about intrusive thoughts, I think.

At times you'll just get thoughts about death, murder, suicide, blasphemy, hardcore sexual shit, etc.

I used to see this stuff way before 4chan was even a thing. And i dont like other sites who post it out of morbid curiosity either. Also this thing goes back. Way back... before even internet or movies existed.

Not saying its necessarily paranormal, but it could be.

Become a Christian. Christians cannot be possessed by anything but the Holy Spirit.

I never knew eating too much carbs gets you possessed. Guess /fit/ knows their shit after all.
>>
>>17752927
Its easy op. If you suspect someone that you think is possesed, then slide a crossdown its pants and see if you see the victim screaming and burning in pain.

Sounds just like what I'm going through. Though I have very good control over the violent fits most of the time. Everything else seems spot on. Sometimes a switch just flips and I say things to people that I don't remember or do things I don't remember. My friend told me it'd be a good idea to see a priest when I'd told him about the red eyes and growling sounds I've been hearing the past ten years
