We found a person who made videos eeriely similar to the youtube videos and Johnston covers with the VHS filter on. It was like 95% him.

Some people wrote to his work and messaged him personally on facebook, and nothings been posted on the youtube since. So he was probably called out and it got a bit too real for him when he was discovered so he aborted.
