Hey /x/, I've been looking for a creepypasta for some time now. It's about a hum that starts one day and lasts for decades, until nobody can remember what life was like without it. Then one day it stops, and everyone on Earth goes instantly insane.

Hidden meaning? Maybe taking about humanities dependency on electricity (most applications of such hum) and how once we lose what we have become so dependant on we all go batshit crazy and start killing for supplies? Just a thought.
