Muy pocas veces he oído su arrastrar por la madera, pero creerme, tales manifestaciones se calan por las paredes, y de ellas no emigran hasta bien avanzado el reloj. Su cuerpo se asemejaba al de un humano, pero tan solo en forma básica, pues colmados eran de bultos grasientos e infectados, que derrochaban pus por allá donde sus deformidades se posaban. Carecían de ojos, pero bocas no les faltaban. Cientos de hoyos dentados se abrían paso en sus cuerpos. Tenían la cabeza partida en dos, abriendo paso a unas monstruosas fauces. Susurraban algo, pero no los entendí.
