I deliberately kept the career paths vague but I’m torn between writing and setting up a proofreading/copy-editing business (helping people, unstable income, mentally engaging), training to teach English as a Second or Other Language (helping people the most out of the three and mentally engaging, but unstable income-wise since as full-time contracts are rare) or getting an administration job with a charity or for a local government (helping people indirectly, stable income, but not mentally challenging).

My lecturer once told me "work, study, social life; pick two" and I find time and time again it's true.

Basically, I feel like my life is falling appart while its not? Every night I can't go to sleep good, get bad dreams or intrusive frightning thoughts before falling asleep. I push myself and force myself to do the work that I do, when I get good news I'm pretty meh about it, I don't anticipate good things, I just roll with everything. I can't say that anything is obviously terrible but it just feels terrible and can't get everything done. I just feel mighty guilty every time I do whatever that I'm not doing something else (even if I'm supposed to do the thing I'm doing) and this has been going on since februrary? Well the first thing that piqued my interests was why the 7oS was in here, but after a moment I understood. In conjunction with the 8oW it describes your current emotions; hectic energy, very fast paced and you yourself doing things and feeling things you'd otherwise not do/feel. However, the rest of the spread is very positive. The ruler card being strength doesn't surprise me; I got a very strong sense of self from your energy. You're a strong and motivated person usually, and this sudden upturn of events has left you reeling and unsure; like a fish out of water you're flailing. Strength, you as a person, is our destination, and the counsel cards give us insight in how to get back there. The Hanging Man and KoS, both reversed, paint a very clear picture. Learn to relax, the more you flail, the worse off you'll be and the KoS usually speaks of over focus, but I believe it's talking about wrong focus; don't take the whole picture in, break it down into bite-sizes and work your way through it.

Overall advice; relax, what will be will be. Take each day one at a time. I've offered this suggestion up before, but I find it extremely useful personally. Each night before bed, build a list of things to do on a notepad. Then complete those goals throughout the day. When you head to bed, physically cross of those you got done, and write up a new list. Physically seeing these little goals achieved is great for one's psyche. Start little, and build gradually. Get back that sense of achievement in a job well done, in completing your goals. Writing it out will also free up mind space so you're not always feeling like your mind is cluttered and churning.
