Is there life after death? Or is it just nothingness.
Whats everyone's thoughts. Its the afterlife just a human invention to try to cover the hard truth that there is nothing after death?

If the universe is infinite then our energy will one day be reassembled as it has been today.

God is Omnipresent, meaning He exists everywhere, and Hell is separation from God.
Therefore the only way you can be eternally separated from God is to cease to exist, like before you were born.
So I believe that you either accept payment for your sins through Jesus Christ and be reconciled to God freely for eternity, or when you die, you cease to exist, and you are reduced to nothingness, which is Hell.
It's nothing God does to you, the choice is always yours, and so is the responsibility for the outcome of that choice.

That question's so big that it can distract us from our current reality. It's pretty reasonable to say that anything is possible and since we have no good way to narrow it down, you might as well make it something that you would like better than your current situation. We can count on our current reality a whole lot more than what happens after we die, so why not make the most of it and hope for some better place?
