His horse is rearing up for a charge with determination on its face, but the knight seems a bit worried, either at the possibility of his failing against an opponent, or the possibility of falling as the horse rears up. Interestingly, the knight's pennant is covered in salamanders.

Now here's the theme; there's a lot of heat on you as a result of passions, but you can get burned quite easily, especially if you & your ex haven't parted ways in a peaceful manner. Salamanders in legend are said to have fire-proof hides, which is a testament to what you need, should you choose to pursue this; you need a tough hide to be able to put up with resolving the issues that separated you two to begin with, or else you're sure to burn up.

Before I got into it earnestly, I started getting visions while trancing, and I eventually learned how to induce them. If I have trouble getting it going, I use a reflective object or a static app on my phone to get a silhouette, then I hold said silhouette in my mind until I can get details, then a scene. My method is a bit unconventional, but I've had a number of people confirm my readings, so I stick with it.

Full seiđr is complete mindrape, so I wouldn't suggest it, but trance can be helpful. In addition to Paxson, you can read some self-hynosis manuals.
