The bottom line is that two species have to be similar for you to make a hybrid. If humans and chimps can't do it with (literally) 99% identical DNA, how would a bird and a human mix?

I haven't even mentioned yet that chicken chromosomes are done in a completely different way. You know how gender in humans is determined? XY for males and XX for females? Not with chickens. Females are actually the ones with heterozygous (two different) chromosomes. This means that IF through some miracle, a zygote would actually form, there would be a 50% chance of it being a male, and 50% of it being a YY which is nothing. It would probably end up being an abortion because it would be so mutated that nothing would happen.
