Sorry to tell you this op, but velox was overrun and sieged by outside entities. 98% of the place is in ruin, and unsafe. You probably had an encounter with one of those that sieged it.

Unfortunately I was not there during the actual siege, and was skeptical of the intent of the op of the veelox threads, so I had not visited it before hand.

I later in my own astral travels stumbled upon the ruins and corroborated the layout with some that had visited. Barriers have since been setup around a couple of the incoming locations so as to prevent situation like you described.

98% of the entities in the astral can't harm you, and those that can are carefully monitored.

As for in general, AP is the equivalent of lucid dreaming in the universe's conciseness. It is a shared plane of thought between all sentient entities through out the universe.

Those 2% that can hurt you are, for the most part,those native to the astral.

lucid dreaming is siome spooky shit when you don't know what you're doing. i figured out a method for self-inducing it during college, will greentext a couple stories

As the year went on I found that suitemate to be highly autistic and genuinely creepy. Mostly in funny ways but sometimes creepy, like I'd be laying in bed with headphones on and catch him looking at me through the crack in my door. Also found out that he would sneak into my room if my door was unlocked and film me if I was grooving to a tune with my eyes closed. He wouldn't even post these vids anywhere, he'd keep them for himself. He would also try to get me to drink with him on week nights when I was doing homework, he'd stay mad at me for a week when I refused. I feel like that lucid dream was a warning of some kind and I'm glad I stayed wary.

2nd story

>start trying again, going to class sleep deprived on purpose
>find out that quickly flashing through images in my mind of different settings helps me cross over to dreamland in minutes
>as I'm doing this during a nap, I start to picture a fairly modest house

I stopped trying to lucid dream on purpose after that. Now when I do have the occasional lucid dream it's a lot more pleasant, I do stuff like fly around and see friends, good shit like that. I wish they occurred more often but I know what happens when you try to force them.
