A bunch of indigenous tribes lived there. I remember reading a few spooky stories on Russian 2ch, related to the aboriginal beliefs and such. It's either local spirits and customs to appease them (be polite with them, don't throw outdoor parties at holy groves, etc) or local types of ghosts and demons which are naturally spookier than your average Lady in White.
There are also fireballs, moving lights, shamanism.
Like there was a legend that one of the dead powerful local shamans would at some point send a spirit to impregnate a woman from the village and be reborn as her child, and then shit started happening at the place where the shaman's house stood, and everyone knew he wanted to impregnate, but no-one came.
As far as I know there is no unique paranormal stuff aside from the aboriginal /x/ things.

there are many other places that are unexplored in the world besides east Siberia, although Siberia is the most extensive. The Adirondacks mountains in new york has some unexplored land, so does northern canada, probably just as much as russia, and the deserts in the Sahara and outback
