My friend was in Australia for school.
He had a friend who would hear noises from upstairs. It was an apartment building.

But he lived on the top floor. So he always thought there were people on the roof sometimes. There were tiny holes in his ceiling and one day he decided to hell with it. He would watch the ceiling holes. As he sat in his chair staring into one of the holes. He saw something shiny.
He peered at it and as he did the shiny part was moved away and he saw an eye.

In all panic he packed his most essentials and left. He called the police. He was told there was a crawlspace beneath the roof and his ceiling.

They had found webcams and computers, trails of people.

My mate took him in, he was in total angst.
So they traveled australia for the reminder of the stay there , but that kid was never the same.

My aunt and uncle were hearing weird noises at night in their attic. They went up and checked around the junk but didn't see anything. House was built in the early 90s and this all happened around 2000 so the house and neighborhood wasn't that old. Well after a week or two they started noticing food missing and things misplaced but my cousin was a stoner they didn't think to much of it.

Anyways to make a short story long they kept hearing noises in the attic and things were missing. Then my uncle noticed a window was unlocked and everyone in the house knew nothing about it. So they called the cops to check the attic and report the stolen stuff. Turns out my cousin's deadbeat friend that just got outta jail was living in the attic insulation. They didn't see him when they checked the attic because he had dug himself a nook out of the insulation in the corner. He was stealing food and shit while they were at work and leaving the window unlocked so he could get back in. Couple neighbors had break ins too so they suspected him if that too. Had to get the Swat team up there to drag his nig ass out of the insulation.
