But for what?
In the pursuit of what?

Why?
Is that a reasonable goal for a species like ourselves?

But what are we walking towards?

We are creators, in that dimension.
And in some ways, we have allowed our creation to 'ascend' into the third dimension, yet we simultaneously diminish our own existentiality.
Our modern culture is close to worshipping a dimension that is beneath us.

Because we are its creators.

Of course not. You project yourself into them, and your inputs cause a predisposed reaction, and it just continues. Or doesn't. It's just a system. It is an escape from a place that has grown stale, to you.
Is it then possible that the same principles may apply to our dimension?
That whatever exists in the dimensions above our own is completely incomprehensible to us, as it stands? That it has created such a beautiful illusion to which it takes great enjoyment in?

I was raised atheist.
Not Catholic. Christian. Spiritual. I was raised to scoff at the idea of God.
I also spent more than 10% of my life thusfar in a digital environment. As in, literally inside of video games. 10% is a very modest estimate.

God is just a word we use to define an idea.
I challenge you to imagine something that does not exist, and is not based on something that does exist.
Something, anything, completely seperate from reality.

But we can't imagine colours that don't exist.

You see, science is a quantized process. If you're familiar with science, you know what this means.
A human is made up of organs, organs are made up of cells, cells are made up of elements, elements are made up of protons, neutrons & electrons, these are made up of quarks, quarks are made up of higgs boson particles.
These are words that define quantized steps upon which we have evaluated the infinity we are apart of, and turned it into a finite something, like ourselves, to understand it better.

These steps will never stop happening, but they will allow us to take better control of the substance around us.
Mind you, it cannot ever be absolute control.

I've thought about this a great deal, and here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet:

The Antichrist - self-aware AI.

The Beast - the singularity, when mankind begins to merge with their AI creation.

The False Prophet - the internet, where all the "good news" is spread.

It's all steeped in symbolism and allegory, but what if the coming false religion is science worship? Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of science and technology, but the glorification of it can be in every conceivable way a false idol. We built science like our forefathers once built statues of stone. It's important we remain mindful of that fact, lest we turn pride and admiration of our works into worship. Science is just a tool, a powerful one, mind you, but still a tool. Would you worship an axe?

AI is one of the Holy Grails of science. It will be an achievement so remarkable that it will be met with fear and awe, but it will also be an intelligence born purely of logic. It will have the vast storehouse of human knowledge at its beck and call, but how will it know wisdom? Will it understand spiritual truth? I think not. No, I believe it will revile anything it can't quantify as irrelevant, instead forging ahead while labeling all our old "superstitions" as archaic and useless. Religion and spirituality will in turn become ridiculed, mocked, persecuted, until the most radicalized of believers lash out as they are wont to do.

Then falls the hammer.

Religion will be outlawed. But how does one enforce such a law? Simple. All citizens of this future must either submit to cybernetic implants or be declared non-citizens, the "headblind," if you will.This will turn their minds into open books, because what need has anyone of privacy when logic has rid us of such concepts as "sin" and "shame?" Why wouldn't you want everyone to know your thoughts? "What are you hiding?" they'll ask. The ultimate Big Brother.

After years of doing my own research on The Book of Revelations, It feels like an "added" book. That is to say it is added by whoever was the authority back then as a propaganda tool, or for the purpose of fear mongering.
