If you accept moral relativism/nihilism, karma can't really work unless it's revised as a concept. For instance, defining it in terms of guilt which is carried life to life. Otherwise, who is it that determines the ultimate "objective" morality for every situation?

Even the slightest bit of investigation reveals, that Karma simply means "doing".

When it is said "It is your Karma" then it means "It is your doing".

The trick is, you cannot get out of "Doing" aslong as you are here.
Whether you act or do not act, it is still an act. You can never evade Karma/Doing.

This is not about some fairy tale. Karma is an actual fact of Life itself.

What you are trying to do is, to fall asleep so much that you do not realize the impact of Karma. This is somewhat cheating and will not help you. It will get you into even more trouble.
Furthermore this sleep causes the wildest speculations about what Karma is.

Karma is simply doing. And you cannot escape from doing aslong as you are living. Living itself is a doing.

But you have to be sincere with yourself. Many people lie alot to themselfes. Build a fantasy around their doing. Distort it and will thus be unable to see their doing, and will be unable to respond to conscience properly. If this thread is lost then a man has lost everything that helped him to seperate imagination from reality.
This is exactly why so many misconceptions about Karma came up in the first place.
The word itself becomes meaningless because everybody attatches his own meaning to it.

Karma itself is a definite fact and can only be witnessed in one absolute way. Not in a manifold relative way as it is usual nowadays.
