I've had a very weird and violent dream about killing 2

It's pretty common. A lot of people have dreams about having been involved in murder one way or another. Were they people you know or just dream characters?

People I knew but it's pretty irrelevant because both of them live some thousands of km away and I'll probably never meet them again.

Is it just my subconscious "killing" any bonds I've had with these people since I moved away since? But why so violent? I literally bashed their skulls in with a hammer and it was all bloody and gory.

I dream of skinning people alive, to peel back the skin on their chests and watch them breathe, slowly with great pain. I am no violent man but I think our dreams are influenced by thoughts in our minds. If you have money troubles you may dream of something relating to money, if you have a problem related to hardware you may dream of a hammer.

Do you dislike them at all? Either way, I wouldn't think too hard about it. Everyone has weird, shitty nightmares sometimes. Violence you've seen in movies and whatnot can easily work its way in.
