I watched over 70 atm. Most of them are about satanism/dracula/witchfinding ( so a lot of gore).

But still I can offer you:

The Wicker man ( 1973)

this one is not that spooky, but you must watch it
Holy Mountain - 1973

I would strongly advise you to see The Thing from 1982, however it is kind of gory so it does not really match your standards

But it's still a damn fine horror movie
